Known as the "bridge ceiling", the Oujiang Beikou Bridge, one of the most technically difficult
and complex Bridges in China and even the world, was officially opened to traffic at 6 PM on
May 27, marking the completion of the national expressway from Ningbo to Dongguan, China's
main coastal traffic artery.

Oujiang Beikou Bridge bridge main body engineering using steel truss beam suspension cable
structure, two across the river, coupled with strong typhoon, astronomical spring tide and other
complex meteorological and hydrological conditions, the bridge connection will produce more up
and down, before and after, transverse, oblique and other directions of the expansion and
deformation. How to make the bridge "backbone" to achieve "rigid and flexible"? The RB unit
multi-directional displacement bridge expansion device developed by Ningbo Lubao Group has
become the "core joint" connecting the "backbone", which meets the complex and changeable
stress displacement requirements of the bridge. At the same time, according to the characteristics
of large traffic volume, the telescopic device also has anti-warping and anti-subsidence functions,
which effectively ensure driving safety.
In addition to the suspension bridge design, beikou Oujiang Bridge has an innovative design
of "two Bridges", with the yongzhou-Dongguan Expressway at the upper level and the G228
national Highway at the lower level. The lower steel bridge deck of G228 national Road is
paved with ECO modified polyurethane technology of Lubao Group. Located in the oujiang
River estuary, construction needs to overcome high temperature, strong tide, soft soil and
other adverse factors. ECO new material uses 100% polymer as binder, which can resist high
and low temperature, water loss and fatigue, and adapt to special Marine hydrological environment.
At the same time, the paving technology does not contain asphalt, mixing and paving at room
temperature, and the construction is efficient, saving 2/3 man-hours than the traditional asphalt
paving. Within the limited time, Lubao Group only spent 16 working days and 192 working
hours to finish the pavement of the lower steel bridge deck with high quality.
